The Journey Thus Far

The gift of craftsmanship is a beautiful thing, and I can't help but share that with others.

From the time school started through senior year, I excelled in each of my art classes. As a sophomore in high school, I was chosen out of my Lapeer County Dual Enrollment colleagues to receive a scholarship to Kendall College of Art & Design's (KCAD) summer program.

Up until my senior year of high school, I was determined I would be an artist. I planned to move to Grand Rapids, continue my education with KCAD, and line myself up with a job in design.

But plans changed when I was asked to audition for a role in a production. Seven months before graduation. The production opened my eyes to how distracted the world is--better yet...how distracted I was-- and missing the voice of God on a daily level due to selfish, fleeting things. My desires went from wanting a full-time artist career to seeking the Kingdom and how God could use me full-time in ministry.

Pressing into my call, I continued my education at Alma College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Religious Studies. I watched God open door after door on that campus as I served as a Resident Assistant, an athlete, a leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Co-Chief of Staff for Campus Ministry, and so many moments that didn't need an organization or committee. Just Jesus and His people.

The goal of running a design business?

Serve like Christ.

Build people to build a business.

Equip talents for their next amazing opportunity.

To support my family.

Most importantly, to support the ministry God allows me to serve in.

Since graduating, I’ve been blessed to help multiple companies and business reps with their logos, branding, and websites including: Sweet Peas Cakes and Cookies, Hideaway Lanes Bowling Center, Ippel Bookkeeping Solutions, New Grounds Coffee, AVentures REI, and multiple financial service representatives.

I've got great vision for a small company just getting on its feet. I love being challenged, and understand the weight that I hold as I help someone represent their business. It's an honor to serve!
